People Business Partner Team Lead – Temporary cover

Our exciting client is rapidly expanding its network across Europe. To accelerate this growth, they are looking for a Temporary People Partner lead to manage a team of 4 People partners who are based in various locations – Netherlands, Belgium, UK and Germany.

This opportunity is to cover a maternity leave for a period of 1 year. This would include an extensive handover period. Please note – This is not a ZZP/Freelance arrangement. This will be on the basis of a 1-year contract directly with our client. This is non-negotiable.

Experience of leading a team of HR Business/People Partners is equally non-negotiable. We need someone who is capable of seamlessly transitioning from hands-on partnering to strategic team leadership without missing a beat.

Your role?

• Lead and support the PBP team.
• Strengthen and scale the HR policies and processes.
• Own the performance and succession cycle.
• Drive leadership development.
• Partner with senior leadership.

What we need.

• A minimum of 5 years People Business Partnering experience with at least 2 years successfully leading and developing a team of BP’s.
• Extensive Dutch labor law knowledge in addition to other European country’s regulations.
• You are comfortable working across multiple countries.
• You have worked in a rapidly growing company.
• You are comfortable working at all levels of the business and have strong coaching and advisory skills.
• You are business fluent in English. Dutch language or German would be a huge bonus.
• You are available to start this opportunity as early as July if possible. August would also be an option.
• You are available to work in the Amsterdam office for 2/3 days a week and open to travel to other office locations on a regular basis.
