Senior Product Owner

You’re the one who turns a vision into working software. You’ve worked closely with engineers, led agile delivery from the front, and know how to balance user needs with technical constraints. You don’t just keep the wheels turning; you make sure every sprint moves the product in the right direction. You’ll report to a Strategic Product Manager, who owns the overall direction, while you take charge of delivering the roadmap, managing the backlog, and bringing features to life. Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Location: Fareham (hybrid working, 4 days / week in the office) Delivery Focus: Be the bridge between strategy and engineering, own the execution Tech Stack: Work on a cloud-native product with AWS at its core Team Culture: Collaborate closely with engineers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders Growth: Join a company with serious ambitions and a clear roadmap ahead What you’ll be doing: Working with the Strategic Product Manager to turn product vision into detailed, deliverable stories Owning the day-to-day product backlog, defining features, prioritising work, and managing sprints Leading agile ceremonies: planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros - keeping the team aligned and focused Writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria that balance business value with technical clarity Collaborating with developers, QA, and operations to deliver scalable, high-quality product releases Using user feedback and product data to refine the backlog and improve delivery over time Acting as the go-to person for the dev team, resolving blockers, answering questions, and keeping things moving What you’ll bring to the table: Solid experience as a Product Owner or in a similar agile delivery role Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies Comfortable working in cloud environments, AWS experience is a big plus A natural collaborator who can balance business needs with technical realities Confident in running agile ceremonies and managing a product backlog Excellent communicator who thrives on keeping teams and stakeholders aligned Bonus points for experience in SaaS, data-heavy platforms, or regulated industries This is a hands-on, delivery-focused Product Owner role where you’ll be trusted to own the day-to-day, and play a key part in helping a cutting-edge product evolve.
