Schedule Details
- Coverage: Approximately 2 weeks per month, ongoing
- Shifts to be discussed during presentation
- Flexibility for specific dates within the ongoing schedule
Clinical Scope
- Performing diagnostic and therapeutic coronary and peripheral interventions
- Managing patients with valvular disease and structural heart conditions
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Monitoring post-procedure patients and providing follow-up care
- Documenting procedures and patient encounters accurately within hospital systems
Requirements
- Active Alaska medical license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Prior experience in interventional cardiology procedures in a hospital environment
- Ongoing availability to provide approximately 2 weeks of coverage each month
