Imports Specialist

The Import Specialist helps with International transactions on shipping and receiving activities and abides by regulations when performing task. The Import Specialist helps ship and receive inventories in International business transactions, making sure that all contact documents are complete and conform to corporate polices and Import-Export laws.

• Maintain a work environment that is conductive to productivity for all co-workers
• Processing data relating to inbound cargo
• Trade-Card payment of invoices
• Approve all Charges related to shipments
• Accurate filing of all records correspondence
• Have ability to deal with people in a professional and congenial manner.
• Communicating with internal and external clients
• Ability to accept assignments follows procedures, and work without constant supervision.
• Quickly advise management of problem
• Any other duties as needed.

SKILLS:

• Computer Literate: Microsoft, Excel, Ten Key
• Good Communication Skills: Oral and Written
• Organizational Skills: Ability to meet Deadlines/Prioritize

EDUCATION:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Sitting approximately 98 percent of the shift, intermittent walking and standing, lifting no more than 50 pounds.
