Duties & Responsibilities: Design, coordinate, and oversee year-round intramural sports program (indoor and outdoor) tailored to seasonal needs Promote health and wellness education through creative engagement strategies and classes Work with Esports Team and Advisor to manage the esports facilities, including equipment maintenance, scheduling, and ensuring a high-quality gaming environment Manage day to day operations of the LSUA Esports Lounge Maintain involvement in the Louisiana Collegiate Intramural Recreational Sports Association (LCIRSA) Train and coach LSUA Tank mascot to maintain character consistency, including non-verbal cues and high-energy interaction Book and manage appearances, coordinate travel and handle on-site logistics of LSUA Tank mascot Oversee the cleaning, repair, and proper storage of costumes and props Responsible for support, attendance and participation in Student Life meetings and programs, and representation on various committees or at special events, including those on evenings and weekends Participate fully in Student Engagement and Student Life functions, meetings, and programs Supervise student staff Responsible for other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: Baccalaureate degree Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative Experience in handling multiple priorities and handling conflict Effective verbal and written communications skills and effective presentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in higher education/student affairs or related field One year experience in higher education, preferably in student support or retention Hours: Eight (8) hours per day, Monday-Friday 40 hours a week. Must be able to work outside of typical work hours for student events/programs.
