Mode of Operation: Remote with quarterly travels to Germany
- Project Manager – Serialization & Track & Trace to lead the design, delivery, and continuous enhancement of serialization and track & trace capabilities across global markets.
- Lead end-to-end serialization and track & trace projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, deployment, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, budgets, and success criteria.
- Establish and manage project governance, status reporting, risk management, issue resolution, and escalation processes.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, IT, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Packaging, and external partners.
- Ensure alignment of project activities with business priorities, compliance requirements, and organizational standards.
- Manage project dependencies, change requests, deployment readiness, and post-deployment stabilization activities.
- Design end-to-end serialization and track & trace solutions across enterprise platforms and external partner ecosystems.
- Translate business, operational, and regulatory requirements into functional and technical solution designs.
- Define integration strategies involving TraceLink, SAP and non-SAP ERP systems, warehouse management systems, manufacturing and packaging systems, and external repositories.
- Ensure solution architectures are scalable, secure, maintainable, and compliant with applicable industry standards and regulations.
- Provide architectural guidance on data flows, event management, interface design, exception handling, and system interoperability.
- Review and validate technical designs proposed by implementation partners and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with GS1 standards and serialization data exchange requirements.
- Incorporate country-specific and regional regulatory requirements into project scope and solution design.
- Support regulatory readiness activities for new market implementations, regulatory changes, and reporting obligations.
- Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory teams to establish compliant and sustainable business processes and system configurations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for serialization and track & trace initiatives across internal stakeholders and external solution providers.
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions, governance meetings, and decision-making forums.
- Build effective relationships across global teams and business functions to support successful program delivery.
- Manage vendor deliverables and ensure alignment with agreed scope, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize serialization processes, integration patterns, and solution templates.
- Contribute to the strategic roadmap for serialization and track & trace capabilities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and best practices across programs and deployments.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience in serialization and track & trace within regulated industries, preferably pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or life sciences.
- Proven experience in both project management and solution architecture roles within global or multi-country programs.
- Strong knowledge of GS1 standards and their application within serialization environments.
- Deep understanding of pharmaceutical serialization and track & trace regulations across multiple markets.
- Hands-on experience with TraceLink.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems, manufacturing environments, packaging systems, and external partner networks.
- Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies and system implementation lifecycles.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage complex programs across multiple functions, systems, and geographies.
- Experience designing global templates and executing country-specific rollouts.
- Knowledge of packaging line integration and multi-level serialization architectures.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
- Architecture certification or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ATTP and SAP Track & Trace (SAP-TH).
