Location: Metairie, Louisiana

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem shifts, 12.5 hours per shift
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess progressive care patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Document patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition
- Maintain a safe and compassionate environment for patient recovery
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
- Previous PCU, step-down, or critical care experience preferred
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to work flexible per diem shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and telemetry
- Understanding of progressive care protocols and interventions
- Skill in IV therapy and medication administration
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate patient-centered approach
