London | Financial Services | Formal + Advisory Mix | High‑Profile Work

Are you looking to take the next step in your restructuring career with one of the most dynamic and high‑profile Financial Services teams in the market?

Rare opportunity to do both formal insolvency & restructuring advisory!

A Top 10 firm is looking to hire a Manager into their growing FSR&I team - a group known for working on some of the most interesting, complex and high‑impact mandates in the financial services sector.

The team supports a wide range of FS clients including insurers, brokers, clearing banks, e‑money and payment services providers, funds and investment managers.

  • ✔️ Some of the most interesting work in the market, spanning both formal insolvency and advisory
  • ✔️ Approx. 60/40 split between formal insolvency/and restructuring advisory (but varies depending on the work pipeline)
  • ✔️ Perfect for someone wanting to move into advisory - no prior advisory experience needed
  • ✔️ Exposure to high-profile FS clients and complex cases rarely seen elsewhere
  • ✔️ Ability to specialise in areas like independent business reviews (IBRs) if desired
  • ✔️ Work with a collaborative team that handles unique and cutting-edge assignments

You'll run your own portfolio while also supporting and managing junior team members across both formal and advisory engagements. Work may include:

  • Managing complex administrations & special projects
  • Overseeing case progression and client communication
  • Leading junior team members on statutory and regulatory processes
  • Financial analysis & cashflow review
  • Contingency planning
  • Supporting IBRs and lender‑side reviews
  • Options analysis
  • Restructuring planning
  • Investigations work (with ability to specialise)
  • Someone with insolvency experience who wants more advisory exposure
  • A Manager or strong Assistant Manager ready for a step up
  • Someone who enjoys variety and wants to work on big-ticket FS cases
  • Candidates who like both independence and collaboration
