<div><strong>Job Summary: </strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Technician specializing in repairs and upkeep needed for machinery, equipment, structures, and systems in business and industrial settings. This position requires on-call availability 24/7. </li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Duties: </strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Strictly adhere to safety protocols in plant operations.</li>
<li>Collaborate on projects with various plant departments. </li>
<li>Complete assigned equipment and project tasks promptly and efficiently. </li>
<li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, tools, and supplies.</li>
<li>Replace light bulbs as necessary.</li>
<li>Fix and maintain restrooms. </li>
<li>Keep parking areas and walkways free of debris. </li>
<li>Ensure all equipment is in optimal working order. </li>
<li>Order repair parts and monitor inventory levels.</li>
<li>Complete necessary paperwork, including PM documents.</li>
<li>Perform regular preventative maintenance tasks.</li>
<li>Demonstrate understanding of press operations. </li>
<li>Identify machine repairs, issue work orders, and provide follow-up. </li>
<li>Troubleshoot plastic injection molding machines and associated equipment.</li>
<li>Repair sensors and other secondary equipment to maintain daily production.</li>
<li>Disassemble, measure, and install injection unit components. </li>
<li>Prioritize daily tasks effectively. </li>
<li>Contribute to overall safety and efficiency of the plant and staff. </li>
<li>Collaborate with team members to complete tasks. </li>
<li>Available for extended work hours or on-call basis as needed. </li>
<li>Address and correct any unsafe conditions promptly.</li>
<li>Participate in ongoing training.</li>
<li>Ensure safe operation of hi-lo drivers in the facility.</li>
<li>Supervisory duties to be assumed by Maintenance Manager when necessary. </li>
<li>Participate in environmental response team, fire brigade, and first responder activities as required. Provide training to staff as needed. </li>

<div><strong>Requirements: </strong></div>
<ul>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively. </li>
<li>Commitment to safety practices, including PPE usage.</li>
<li>Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical diagrams. </li>
<li>Competence in troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues. </li>
<li>Self-motivated and able to work on-call 24/7. </li>
<li>Completion of lock out tag out training. </li>
</ul>
<div><strong>Education and Experience: </strong></div>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma preferred.</li>
<li>Training in electricity, controls, PLCs, and digital electronics.</li>
<li>Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and maintenance. </li>
<li>Associates degree or equivalent experience in a related field.</li>
<li>Demonstrated language, mathematical, and computer skills required. </li>
<li>Strong reasoning ability and problem-solving skills. </li>
<li>Must possess relevant certifications and licenses. </li>
</ul>
