Job Title:              Auto Electrician Shift:                     Monday – Friday 7.30am- 4pm  (38.75 Hours) Location             Halifax Salary:                 £40,000 per annum Benefits:             All overtime paid at 1.5X , Pension: 6% employer, 5% employee, death in service, 3X annual salary and on call payment Auto Electrician – Exciting Career Opportunity Are you an experienced Auto Electrician looking to take the next step in your career? My client, a market-leading Fleet Maintenance specialist, is expanding due to continued growth and is seeking  two skilled professionals to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide variety of vehicles and specialist equipment, where your expertise in diagnostics, repair, and servicing will make a real impact in keeping fleets on the road and customers satisfied. What you’ll be doing as our Auto Electrician: Diagnose faults quickly and accurately using electronic diagnostic equipment, ensuring first-time fixes wherever possible. Carry out vehicle servicing, electrical repairs, and related maintenance tasks to a high standard. Complete all documentation and service reports clearly, accurately, and on time. Work collaboratively with colleagues, providing support where needed to get the job done. Maintain exceptional levels of customer service, liaising directly with vehicle operators to resolve defects effectively. What we’re looking for in an Auto Electrician Proven experience as an Auto Electrician with strong diagnostic and repair skills. Hands-on experience working with HGVs, specialist vehicles, or similar equipment. Confident in using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical fault reports. Able to communicate effectively with workshop supervisors, engineers, and customers. Organised and reliable, with the ability to complete paperwork and reports accurately. Qualifications & Experience required for the Auto Electrician: City & Guilds Levels 1–3 in Auto Electrics (or equivalent qualification). Certification to work on 110/240 volt electrical systems (or willingness to train). Solid knowledge of workshop Health & Safety requirements.
