About the Role
<p>Reporting to The Logistics Director the Distribution Center Manager will be a of a graduate calibre and have at least 6 years experience gained within a FMCG background.</p>
<p>430,000 sq foot warehouse.<br />
Budget control 32 million.<br />
Ambient Chilled Unionised.<br />
Must have a CPC.</p>
<p>Job role:</p>
<p>To effectively plan all distribution operations on behalf of retailer to continually strive to improve service and reduce cost.</p>
<p>To ensure delivery of Key Performance Indicators through management of core processes and driving continuous improvement through efficient use of the companies’ physical and human assets.</p>
<p>To maximise the performance of the operation by directing the daily, weekly and monthly activities. Providing leadership, motivation, training and development of the team, delivering against customer requirements, and operational performance.</p>
