About the Role
<p><b>Truck Driver from 7.5T up to Artic</b></p>
<p><b>Various shifts available</b>: Day and night shifts; 4-on / 4-off; Monday – Friday; Afternoon / Evening / Weekend</p>
<p><b>Hourly rate</b>: From £12.71 to £16 per hour, depending on experience and size of vehicle</p>
<p><b>Full-Time, Permanent</b></p>

<p><b>Roles and Responsibilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Carrying out deliveries and collections of air freight and specialist goods for a range of customers.</li>
<li>A mix of local and regional routes, always returning to base each day.</li>
<li>Ensuring freight is safely loaded, stacked, and secured.</li>
<li>Completing paperwork accurately and handing it in promptly.</li>
<li>Following assigned routes and schedules, with flexibility to optimise where appropriate.</li>
<li>Maintaining good communication with the transport office throughout the day.</li>
<li>Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects immediately.</li>
<li>Using equipment such as a pump truck or tail-lift safely when required.</li>
<li>Ensuring full compliance with RHA standards, Drivers’ hours rules, and tachograph requirements, including accurate record-keeping.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Full, valid UK driving licence.</li>
<li>Good local road knowledge and confident navigation using maps or satnav.</li>
<li>Safe, responsible driving with full compliance to legal and CAA regulations.</li>
<li>Basic IT skills (PDA/satnav use).</li>
<li>Professional communication with customers and colleagues.</li>
</ul>

<li>Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours.</li>
<li>Courteous to colleagues, customers, and other road users.</li>
<li>Calm and alert behind the wheel.</li>

<p><b>Experience, Qualifications, and Education Requirements:</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Full UK driving licence (essential).</li>
<li>Clean CRC check (carried out before employment).</li>
<li>Cargo Operative (non-screening) and Hazard Awareness training (required but provided if not already held).</li>
