£58,000–£60,000 with a Monday to Friday 7:00am–5:00pm schedule and only 1-in-2 Saturday mornings - this is a rare opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician to secure exceptional pay alongside great working hours.

 

A well-run, very friendly, family-owned commercial workshop is expanding and looking to add a skilled technician to its team. This business has built a strong reputation for its supportive culture, organised workshop, and trusting experienced technicians to work independently without micromanagement.

 

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to a high standard
• Diagnose faults accurately using experience and diagnostic equipment
• Work independently to manage workload and prioritise jobs effectively
• Complete inspections, safety checks, and routine maintenance
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently and in line with safety standards

 

Requirements

• Strong experience as an HGV Technician with the ability to work independently
• Confident in diagnostics, fault finding, and repairs
• Self-motivated with a high standard of workmanship
• Background in plant machinery will also be considered
• Reliable, professional, and able to work within a close-knit team environment

 

Salary and Benefits

• £58,000–£60,000
• Mon–Fri 7:00am–5:00pm, 1-in-2 Saturdays 7:00am–12:00pm
• 21 days holiday + bank holidays
• Free onsite parking
