In this role, the technician will work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and controls. Strong logical-thinking and troubleshooting skills are critical. This position is critical to the safe and efficient operation of the Melrose cheese manufacturing facility.<br><br>WAGE: $35.43 Hour<br>LOCATION: Melrose, MN<br><br>New Hire Sign-On/Retention Bonus: $1,500 Total ($250 paid after 30 days, $500 retention bonus paid at 6 months, $750 retention bonus paid at 1 year)<br><br>HOURS: Weekend Shift; 5pm - 5am. Rotating 3-4-3 weekend schedule.<br>Friday – Sunday<br>Friday - Monday<br><br>REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:<br>1+ years experience -Prior experience in a maintenance role at a manufacturing environment<br><br>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:<br>Ensuring the complete safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times<br>Knowledge of equipment for proper performance and to detect faults and malfunctions, and to make proper repairs<br>Familiarity with performing regular maintenance, possibly including corrections and alterations, on a machine or piece of equipment to ensure it remains in production<br>Arriving on time, reliably completing tasks by the deadline, and adapting to changes in deadlines and priorities with minimal supervision.<br>Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions and possess basic mathematical skills<br>Working well with others to meet team goals and adjusting to important changes<br>Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions<br>Troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant processing equipment.
