Then join our team in Falkenstein/Vogtland or Nuremberg as a System Administrator (m/f/d) and take charge of operating and improving our self-hosted GitLab infrastructure. Your responsibilities: Install, configure, and manage our self-hosted GitLab instances Ensure the high availability, performance, and security of the GitLab environment Maintain and update GitLab, including GitLab Runner Manage users, groups, and access permissions Handle regular backups, updates, and security patches Troubleshoot issues within GitLab and CI/CD pipelines Create and maintain clear technical documentation What impresses us: A completed degree or vocational training in IT (e.g. IT specialist for system integration) Professional experience as a system administrator or in a similar role Good knowledge of GitLab administration, including GitLab Runner and Docker Confident at working with Linux servers and the command line Hands-on experience with container technologies — especially Docker and Kubernetes Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g. Bash, Ruby) Strong problem-solving skills and a structured, independent work style Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
