You will be pivotal in overseeing defect resolution activities during a major transition project involving data migration and application re-installation within the banking sector. Your main responsibilities: Coordinate defect resolution activities across bank teams, ensuring SLAs are consistently met. Refine defect understanding, criticality, and urgency, driving efficient resolutions. Lead and facilitate defect meetings, organize defect correction work, and prioritize tasks based on criticality. Foster a culture of quality assurance and promote best practices in defect management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve defect tracking processes and reporting. Support continuous improvement initiatives within testing and defect processes. Navigate complex banking functional areas, understanding architecture, environments, and data models. Ensure effective communication of defect statuses to diverse stakeholders. You're ideal for this role if you have: At least 5 years of experience in defect management, testing, or related roles within structured project environments. Strong expertise in test management methodologies and defect lifecycle management. Proficiency in Jira testing tools, including dashboard creation and filter management. Solid understanding of banking functional areas and SDLC, familiar with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Cross-domain consulting or business analysis experience. Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Ability to work effectively in multicultural, distributed teams. It is a strong plus if you have: Testing certification (e.g., ISTQB) or similar qualifications. Knowledge of migration testing and UAT processes. Experience in investment banking projects.
