Lead .NET Developer

Outside IR35 Lead .NET Developer contract focused on legacy .NET upgrade, full-stack architecture, and data-led delivery. A Lead .NET Developer is required for a 6-month Outside IR35 contract supporting a legacy .NET upgrade and wider modernisation programme. The role suits a hands-on technical lead who can work across full-stack development, architecture decisions, data integration, and delivery leadership. Lead the upgrade of legacy .NET applications into a more maintainable modern platform. Own technical decisions across full-stack architecture, APIs, services, and data flows. Work hands-on with C#, .NET, SQL, front-end components, and integration points. Review code, guide developers, and improve engineering standards. Assess legacy risks, dependencies, data quality issues, and migration options. Work with stakeholders to define pragmatic delivery plans across a 6-month engagement. Strong commercial experience with C#, .NET, and legacy .NET modernisation. Full-stack delivery experience across APIs, front-end layers, services, and databases. Architecture experience, including solution design, integration patterns, and technical trade-offs. Strong SQL and data skills, including data modelling, migration, reporting, or data quality work. Ability to lead developers while remaining hands-on. Comfortable working in an Outside IR35 contract environment. Outside IR35 contract. 6-month initial engagement.
