Join a growing legal services business during an exciting period of expansion and investment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal looking to develop their career within Credit Hire and Litigation, gaining hands on experience within a supportive and expanding team.

The Role
The firm are seeking a Credit Hire Paralegal to join their Glasgow office. Working alongside experienced fee earners, you will support a varied caseload of Credit Hire matters, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of claims from initial instruction through to settlement or litigation.

The successful candidate will:

• Support fee earners with the management and progression of Credit Hire matters

• Handle client enquiries and obtain detailed instructions from new and existing clients

• Gather and review relevant evidence to support claim progression

• Assist with assessing prospects of success under supervision

• Manage your own tasks and caseload activity through a specialist case management system

• Maintain accurate file records and ensure deadlines are effectively managed

• Communicate with clients in a professional and empathetic manner

• Assist with preparing matters for negotiation and litigation where required

Experience within Credit Hire, RTA, personal injury or civil litigation would be advantageous, although applications from candidates with strong transferable litigation experience will also be considered.
