About the Role

<p><strong>About the Client</strong><br>Our client is an international, growing crypto processing company developing secure solutions for business clients across high- and low-risk industries, including gambling. The company works with over 200 skilled business clients, operates under EU licenses, and continues to scale its legal and operational framework in multiple jurisdictions.</p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong><br>As a <strong>Lawyer,</strong> you will take ownership of day-to-day legal tasks and contract workflows, allowing the Head of Legal to focus on strategic initiatives and new jurisdictions. Your impact will be felt directly in faster deal cycles, well-managed legal risks, and strong cooperation with internal teams and international clients.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li><p>Draft, review, and negotiate B2B contracts, including NDA, service, SaaS/IT, and partnership agreements.</p></li><li><p>Manage contract negotiations with merchants, balancing legal risk and business needs.</p></li><li><p>Identify and address key legal risks such as liability, indemnity, IP, confidentiality, termination, sanctions, and AML clauses.</p></li><li><p>Maintain structured contract and corporate documentation, including version control and archiving.</p></li><li><p>Handle routine corporate matters such as resolutions, director changes, and coordination with service providers.</p></li><li><p>Support internal teams with legal input during client onboarding and daily operations.</p></li><li><p>Communicate with international clients as the role involves communication with international clients.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><p>Solid experience working with B2B commercial contracts and contract negotiations.</p></li><li><p>Background or exposure to fintech, crypto, or regulated environments with basic AML/compliance understanding.</p></li><li><p>Legal education or experience in European or international law, with knowledge of common law and/or civil law systems.</p></li><li><p>Strong written English for contract drafting and negotiations; Russian is required.</p></li><li><p>Confident use of legal documentation tools (Word, Google Docs, Track Changes); AI tools are a plus.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Key Soft Skills</strong></p><ul><li><p>Business-oriented mindset with a solution-focused approach.</p></li><li><p>Clear and structured communication style.</p></li><li><p>Ability to prioritize and manage routine legal workflows efficiently.</p></li><li><p>Openness to feedback and collaboration with cross-functional teams.</p></li><li><p>Strong organizational and productivity skills.</p></li></ul><p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p><ul><li><p>Fully remote work within the EU or Ukraine.</p></li><li><p>Direct collaboration with an experienced Head of Legal.</p></li><li><p>Supportive, international, and well-structured team environment.</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to grow within a developing crypto and fintech business.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Hiring process (for IT positions)</strong></p><ul><li><p>Initial HR interview.</p></li><li><p>Interview with the Head of Legal focusing on experience and practical cases.</p></li><li><p>Final interview with key stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Offer and onboarding.</p></li></ul>
