About the Role
Key Stage 2 Teacher – Full Time – Southampton – Summer Term (Potential to Extend)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Southampton who are seeking an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis for the Summer Term, with the potential for the role to continue beyond for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and making a positive impact within the classroom.
The Role: The successful candidate will take on full classroom responsibilities, including planning, preparation and assessment, and will work closely with the wider staff team to ensure pupils are supported to reach their full potential. The class is well established, and the school prides itself on maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
Undertake full teaching responsibilities including marking, assessment and reporting
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupil progress
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
Monitor and support pupils’ academic and personal development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
Be committed, reliable and enthusiastic about teaching
Have a passion for supporting children to achieve their best

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
