About the Role
<h3>Head of Treasury</h3>
<p>A major UK-based infrastructure business is seeking a <strong>Head of Treasury</strong> to lead the management of financial risk and treasury operations across the Group.</p>
</p>
<p>This role is responsible for overseeing liquidity, funding, interest rate and foreign exchange risk, banking, cash forecasting, debt compliance and hedging activities, in line with Board‑approved treasury policy. The position will act as the Group’s subject‑matter expert on treasury matters and a key adviser to senior leadership, lenders and the Board.</p>
</p>
<p>The role operates on a <strong>hybrid basis</strong>, requiring regular on-site presence at a South East England location (2-3 days per week)</p>
</p>
<h4>Key Responsibilities</h4>
<ul>
<li>Lead day-to-day treasury operations including cash management, forecasting, banking, payments and liquidity</li>
<li>Ensure full compliance with debt facilities, covenants and treasury policy</li>
<li>Manage funding arrangements, hedging activities, ISDA documentation and trade finance instruments</li>
<li>Oversee financial risk management covering interest rate, FX, credit and liquidity risks</li>
<li>Prepare high-quality reporting and presentations for lenders, senior management and the Board</li>
<li>Maintain effective relationships with banks, lenders, advisors and internal stakeholders</li>
<li>Establish efficient treasury systems and processes, including implementation of a Treasury Management System</li>
<li>Provide expert guidance on treasury accounting (including IFRS 9), tax and related financial matters</li>
