SEND Teaching Assistant (Speech and Language) – Warwick

About the role:
justteachers are supporting a primary school in Warwick to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs. This is a full-time role with a September 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a highly inclusive approach and works closely with Speech and Language Therapists to ensure pupils receive consistent support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted communication interventions
• Support pupils during classroom activities
• Implement individual support plans
• Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists

Pre-requisites:

• Level 2 or higher teaching assistant qualification or equivalent (Must be relevant to working with children)
• Proven experience working with children in a school or relevant setting (That can be referenced)
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
