Opportunity Highlights
Schedule & Coverage
Specific September dates will be determined according to the clinical coverage schedule.
Trauma & Surgical Practice
This is a high-volume Level I Trauma environment supporting both Trauma Surgery and Emergency General Surgery.
The ideal NP should already be comfortable managing high-acuity surgical patients and working within a busy STICU environment. This is not an entry-level trauma assignment—the clinical team is specifically seeking an experienced clinician capable of integrating into an established surgical service.
Patient encounters vary based on trauma volume and clinical activity.
Clinical Support
One of the strongest differentiators of this assignment is the depth of surgical and APP coverage.

Night Coverage
This model gives experienced APPs the opportunity to practice at a high clinical level while maintaining direct access to substantial surgical support.

Who This Opportunity Is Built For
This assignment is designed for the experienced Trauma NP who doesn't need an introduction to high-acuity surgery.
If you already understand the pace, complexity, and clinical expectations of a Level I Trauma Center and STICU, this opportunity gives you the chance to put those skills to work within a deeply staffed surgical model.
Level I Trauma. STICU. Five surgeons + four APPs supporting days. Two surgeons + an additional APP supporting nights.
That's the clinical environment—not a generic inpatient APP assignment.
