About the Role
AJ Chambers are partnered with a Top 30 Firm in Central London hiring for an Audit Manager. We’re seeking an experienced manager with a professional services background to join our Audit and Accounts department. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, from large corporations to small businesses, including nonprofits like charities and trade associations. Alongside statutory audits, you'll also handle internal audits.
Role
Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring strong relationships and expectation management.
Plan, supervise, and review audit, accounts, and corporation tax work.
Prepare and review statutory accounts according to UK GAAP and FRS102.
Supervise junior staff, assist with technical queries, and conduct appraisals.
Handle billing management and some staff-related administration.
Provide business consultancy and assist in generating new business.
Perform other duties as required, with potential involvement in staff recruitment.
Requirements
ACA or ACCA qualified with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience.
Proven audit experience across various clients.
Expertise in UK GAAP, FRS102, and IFRS.
Strong technical skills and audit management experience.
Knowledge of corporate, personal, and indirect tax.
Leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
