Job Description
  • Provide direct patient care under the direction of the Unit Manager or Licensed Nurse.
  • Responsible for the daily care of assigned residents/patients, including dressing, bathing, transporting, and feeding.
  • Document care provided as directed in accordance with guidelines.
  • Maintain patients' environment/work area/equipment and report any malfunctions.
  • Complete and maintain required CNA educational hours.
  • Participate in quality monitoring activities under the guidance of the Unit Manager or Nurse Leader.
Critical Information
  • Shift: 06:30 AM - 07:00 PM, 36 hours per week with every other weekend rotation.
  • On-call requirements: N/A
  • Job is on-site.
Education/Licenses Needed
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA or ARC required within 90 days of hire.
