<p>What You Will Be Doing</p>
<p>Installing both addressable and conventional fire alarm systems to the latest BS 5839-1 standards</p>
<p>Reading and working from electrical drawings and system designs</p>
<p>Running and terminating fire-rated cables neatly and securely</p>
<p>Fitting and connecting all fire system components including detectors, call points, panels and more</p>
<p>Carrying out fault-finding, testing and pre-commissioning checks</p>
<p>Ensuring all installations are clean, professional and compliant</p>
<p>Communicating with clients, site managers and colleagues as needed</p>
<p>Completing accurate documentation and installation records</p>
<p>Maintaining health and safety practices on site</p>
<p>Supporting service and call-out duties when required</p>
<p>What We Are Looking For<br />
Essential</p>
<p>Hands-on experience installing fire alarm systems to BS 5839-1 standards</p>
<p>Knowledge of addressable systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, Apollo and Hochiki</p>
<p>Strong understanding of fire safety and electrical regulations</p>
<p>Full UK driving licence</p>
<p>Ability to read and interpret system drawings and specs</p>
<p>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills</p>
<p>A team player who can also work independently</p>
<p>Desirable</p>
<p>FIA installation qualifications or equivalent</p>
<p>IPAF or PASMA certification</p>
<p>Valid ECS or CSCS card</p>
