The Role

As Production Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations within your department, ensuring output is delivered safely, efficiently and in line with customer expectations.

You will focus on stabilising performance, improving processes and embedding a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all production activities, ensuring safe systems of work and full compliance with HSE standards
• Drive performance across key metrics including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Continuous Improvement
• Manage labour, materials and plant resources to consistently achieve production targets
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste
• Work cross-functionally to resolve production challenges and maintain OTIF performance
• Support new product introduction, ensuring smooth and efficient launches into production
• Own and report on departmental KPIs, driving accountability and results
• Lead, coach and develop your team to build capability and engagement
• Implement succession planning to ensure long-term team stability and performance

About You

We are looking for a proactive and results-focused Production Manager who can operate confidently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will bring:

• Proven experience leading production or operations teams within manufacturing or engineering
• A strong understanding of health and safety within a production environment
• Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• The ability to influence, engage and challenge stakeholders at all levels
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
• A hands-on leadership style with a clear focus on accountability and results

A formal management qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential.
