About the Role

<p><strong>Estate Administrator needed in Benfleet Paying  £14.19 per hr ref 23116</strong></p> <p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong></p> <p> Key Skills and Competencies</p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Administrative Support</strong> – Experienced in providing efficient administrative support, maintaining records, managing correspondence, and ensuring the smooth running of departmental activities.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Customer Service &amp; First Point of Contact</strong> – Confident in handling enquiries professionally, responding to estate-related queries, and managing shared mailboxes to ensure timely resolutions.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Inbox and Case Management</strong> – Skilled in prioritising, tracking, and monitoring requests, maintaining organised systems, and ensuring actions are completed within agreed timescales.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Financial Administration</strong> – Experienced in processing supplier invoices, raising purchase orders, monitoring expenditure, and supporting budget tracking activities.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Database and Record Management</strong> – Able to maintain accurate asset management records, update databases, and ensure information is accessible, current, and compliant with organisational requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Compliance and Attention to Detail</strong> – Thorough approach to maintaining statutory compliance records, checking documentation, and ensuring accuracy across all administrative processes.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Health and Safety Awareness</strong> – Knowledge of site safety procedures, including escorting contractors and monitoring compliance with health and safety requirements.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Meeting Coordination</strong> – Skilled in arranging meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes where required, and ensuring records and actions are updated accordingly.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Organisation and Time Management</strong> – Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise workloads effectively, and consistently meet deadlines and service targets.</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Teamwork and Communication</strong> – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments, build positive relationships, and communicate effectively with colleagues, contractors, and stakeholders.</p> </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>If you are interested in the role, please email your CV to verity@essentialemploy.co.uk quoting the reference number. </p> <p>Essential Employment is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
