business oriented, strategic legal adviser

You will be responsible for providing legal support to Cboe’s European trading and data services. You will advise on complex matters within the relevant regulatory framework, contribute to the development of new products and services, and assist in the review of contracts. You will act as a versatile sparring partner to the business and management, and move effortlessly between different stakeholders and areas of law. In addition, you support governance and corporate law matters. You report to the Head of Legal, Cboe Europe.

Profiel

• approximately 5–9 years of relevant work experience as inhouse counsel and/or lawyer
• solid knowledge of EU capital markets regulation (including MiFID/MiFIR/MAR)
• ability to approach a wide range of issues in an integrated manner
• proactive, structured and pragmatic working style, strong sense of stakeholder management
• excellent in English (Dutch a plus)
