<p>Multi-Trade Operative<br /> East London<br /> Permanent 40 hours per week<br /> Salary: up to £40,500 per annum</p> <p>Build Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trade Operative to work on a permanent contract with a local authority in East London.</p> <p>The successful candidate will be carrying out reactive maintenance and repair works across both commercial and domestic properties, delivering a high standard of workmanship across multiple trades.</p> <p><strong>The Role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Carrying out a range of multi-trade maintenance and repair works</li> <li>Working across commercial and domestic properties</li> <li>Trades may include basic carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting &amp; decorating</li> <li>Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required standards</li> <li>Customer-facing role within occupied and unoccupied properties</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Level 2 City &amp; Guilds or NVQ qualification in a main trade<br /> OR</li> <li>Minimum 3 years’ time-served experience</li> <li>Full UK Driving Licence (essential)</li> <li>Previous experience within maintenance or property repairs is highly desirable</li> <li>Ability to work independently and manage workload</li> <li>Good communication and customer service skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Package &amp; Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Permanent contract</li> <li>40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm</li> <li>31 days annual leave (including bank holidays)</li> <li>Company van and fuel card provided</li> <li>Secure, long-term work with a reputable local authority</li> </ul> <p>If you are a skilled Multi-Trade Operative looking for stability and long-term work, we would like to hear from you.</p> <p>Please call Kiera on 07917917864 or send your most up-to-date CV to kiera.troutt@buildrec.com</p> <p>    </p>
