Hybrid/Local (Lansing ONLY) MOVEit/MessageWay Admin/Architect with PowerShell and MessageWay wto MOVEit migration experience

Location: Lansing, MI (DTMB)
Duration: 12 Months

– Interview Process: 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate.
– Duration:
– Hybrid: Resource will be working a hybrid schedule. NO REMOTE ONLY OPTION. Will need to be onsite from day 1, two days a week. (Tuesdays/Wednesdays are required onsite days)
– Candidates must be local to the Lansing, Michigan area (within 90 miles) at time of submission. This requirement is non-negotiable.

Skills:
-7+ years of experience customizing MOVEit and MessageWay, including a strong understanding of their strengths, limitations, configurations, customer support, troubleshooting, and associated networks.
-7+ years of MOVEit and MessageWay database architecture
-Design, develop, test, document, package, and delivery of scripts
-PowerShell scripting
-Strong interpersonal, analytical, and customer service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and stakeholders across multiple State departments.
-Ability to develop and maintain strategic plans that support organizational and project objectives.
-Extensive experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices and methodologies, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
-Ability to assist customers in designing file transfer solutions that meet business and technical requirements.

Job Description:
File Transfer Service (FTS) MessageWay to MOVEit transition project: Transition all existing MessageWay customers to the new MOVEit solution. MOVEit File Transfer Services (FTS) will expand file transfer capabilities (e.g., ad hoc file transfers) and automation. Due to the complexity of these migrations, the process is expected to take approximately two years to complete.
