About the Role
<p><strong>Schedule: 24 hours per week on average and can be worked over 3 or 4 days</strong><br />

Our client is seeking a Digital Marketing Specialist to assist in executing the full marketing cycle: planning, creating, distributing, and measuring content across email, social media, and event materials with the goal of driving awareness, membership growth, and event attendance for the organization through coordinated marketing and content creation.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<p><strong>Content Creation and Campaign Management</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Develop monthly marketing calendars for events, membership pushes, and initiatives.</li>
<li>Write and schedule:</li>
<li>Promotional emails (event invitations, reminders, follow-ups).</li>
<li>Advocacy and membership emails and social media (benefits highlights, calls to action, legislative updates).</li>
<li>Generate social media posts</li>
<li>Create graphics and/or coordinate with design/agency as needed.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Event Marketing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Build and execute a marketing plan for each event, including email sequences</li>
<li>Creation of a social media plan surrounding each event (announcement posts, countdown posts, speaker spotlights).</li>
<li>Ensure registration page, event website, and descriptions are clear, compelling, and up to date.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Membership and Marketing</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Plan and execute email and social campaigns to:</li>
<li>Promote membership benefits.</li>
<li>Highlight success stories, testimonials, and milestones.</li>
<li>Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure messaging supports broader advocacy goals.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong writing experience for a variety of media: blogs, social media posts, emails, websites, etc.</li>
<li>At least 3 years of experience with writing email content</li>
<li>Experience managing and delivering social media content</li>
<li>Design/graphics experience for marketing (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)</li>
