Senior Performance Data Analyst (x2 (1 x Perm; 1 x FTC).

The Housing Ombudsman Service provides independent, impartial and fair dispute resolution for nearly 5 million households in England. As a Senior Performance Data Analyst, you will be part of the Performance and Business Information Team whose purpose is improving the Housing Ombudsman’s data capabilities through the implementation of innovative customer-centric reporting and forecasting solutions building a data-driven culture. Key responsibilities include: leveraging key systems through stakeholder engagement and data analysis techniques to identify and deliver robust, high-quality actionable customer insights; enhancing our casework forecasting to predict future trends, performance and resource requirements; Conduct requirement analysis, translating business priorities into intuitive reports/dashboards for data insights to support business needs, and leading on the enhancement of our casework management system (Workpro), managing all aspects of the change control process, from business request to implementation. Essential requirements for the role include: Extensive Power BI experience, including data modelling, Power Query & DAX. Experience of gathering requirements, implementing data flows and building a comprehensive data platform. Ability to identify and share performance trends, opportunities and issues, providing the business with greater visibility and valuable insights. In addition to your technical, problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities, your ability to build strong relationships with technical and non-technical colleagues alike will be key.
