Nurture Teaching Assistant Louth

About the role:

We are on the look-out for a  compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for supporting young people, to work within a well thought-of Primary Academy in Louth. This is a full-time supply TA role starting September 2026.

This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils who require additional emotional, social, and behavioural support, helping them to thrive both inside and outside the classroom

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with additional needs.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive learning environment.
• Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, confidence, and social development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to deliver tailored interventions.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

Pre-requisites:

• Recent experience working with children or young people in an educational, care, or support setting, that can be referenced
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A relevant qualification or previous school-based experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
