The Role
CNC Machinists play a key role in supporting production by operating various machines (manual and/or CNC) such as; lathes, mills, vertical machining centers, horizontal boring mills, etc. Machinists are responsible for assisting in the setup, operation and maintenance of CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Inside machinists troubleshoot operations and take appropriate actions to correct. The machinists perform quality inspections, verifying dimensions of work pieces that are in accordance with drawing specifications.
This position is designed for individuals who are new or have some knowledge of machining and eager to develop technical skills in a manufacturing environment. The role is hands-on, detail oriented, and training focused.
Must Have
A CNC Machining Certificate from a community college, trades school etc OR at least 6 Months experience working in a machine shop
Ablility to work any shift
Ability to lift 40 lbs on a regular basis
Nice to Have
Prior CNC experience more than 6 months definitely a plus
