JOB DESCRIPTION Maintenance Coordinator Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm Location: Fully office-basedOverviewOur client are a busy and growing property management company seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This is a fast-paced role where you will be responsible for managing maintenance across a large residential portfolio, ensuring issues are handled efficiently and to a high standard. You will be a key point of contact for tenants, contractors, and internal teams-keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring excellent service delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesHandling incoming calls and maintenance queries from tenantsCoordinating and managing all maintenance jobs across a portfolio of approximately 400 propertiesScheduling and overseeing the daily workload of maintenance contractorsBooking and managing maintenance works for new tenant move-insLiaising with tenants to provide updates and resolve issues promptlyObtaining and reviewing quotes for works and ordering required materialsProcessing and managing invoices related to maintenance worksConducting and coordinating property inspections where requiredManaging administrative tasks such as meter readings and CCTV-related queriesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date records using internal systems and Excel spreadsheetsActing as the first point of contact for complaints and resolving them professionallyProviding cover for other Maintenance Coordinators during periods of absenceRequirementsPrevious experience in a property management or maintenance coordination role preferredStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalConfident handling a high volume of calls and queriesAbility to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood problem-solving skills and a proactive approachStrong attention to detailCompetent in Microsoft Excel and general IT systemsWhat We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, and thrives in a busy environment.
