<p><strong>Logistics Coordinator (Production)</strong><br /><strong>Location: Melksham</strong><br /><strong>Pay Rate: &pound;14.40 p/h</strong><br /><strong>Hours: 0700-1530 Monday to Thursday and 0700-1200 on Fridays</strong></p> <p>We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join a busy manufacturing environment, taking responsibility for supporting and coordinating a dedicated production area.</p> <p>This is a key role focused on ensuring materials, workflow, and communication are aligned to keep production running efficiently and on schedule.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <p>As a Logistics Coordinator, you will act as the link between production, stores, and planning, ensuring your assigned production area is fully supported with materials, information, and coordination to meet output targets.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership of a specific production area, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations</li> <li>Coordinate the flow of materials, components, and work orders to support production schedules</li> <li>Monitor production progress and highlight any delays or issues</li> <li>Liaise with production, stores, planning, and quality teams to resolve shortages or bottlenecks</li> <li>Ensure all documentation, job packs, and system updates are completed accurately</li> <li>Track and manage work-in-progress (WIP) to maintain efficient workflow</li> <li>Support production planning and scheduling activities</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within your area</li> <li>Ensure high standards of organisation, housekeeping, and communication</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We&rsquo;re Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a logistics, production coordination, or manufacturing environment</li> <li>Strong organisational and planning skills</li> <li>Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks</li> <li>Good communication skills and the ability to work across teams</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li> <li>Confident using IT systems (ERP/MRP systems advantageous)</li> <li>Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills</li> <li>Valid Counterbalance licence (Training can be provided)</li> </ul> <p><strong>What&rsquo;s on Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Opportunity to take ownership of a key production area</li> <li>Stable role within a growing manufacturing business</li> <li>Supportive team environment</li> </ul> <p>Immediate start available or the right candidate</p>
