About the Role

Job Title: Associate Product Owner - CA Department: Research & Development FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Position Overview: We are looking for a self-motivated Associate Product Owner to join the R&D team responsible for developing new products and improving existing ones. Working in an Agile environment, in collaboration with a cross-functional team, this person will be responsible for defining and executing the Product roadmap and ensuring the Backlog is properly prioritized and defined for the team. Responsibilities: In collaboration with team maintain short and mid-term roadmap. In collaboration with team and stakeholders, build and manage product backlog to ensure alignment on vision, goals, and priorities of the product. Assist with requirements gathering efforts on high level features and epics. Work with other Product Owners to ensure there is a coordinated approach to deliver value. Work with other Product Owners and R&D team to develop story details and support sizing effort and story decomposition. Work with other Product Owners and R&D team on backlog refinement activities and be a core contributor in Sprint planning as well as Sprint review ceremonies. Enable team delivery by minimizing variability in currently executed Sprint. Ensure completed Stories meet the definition of DONE. Performs other duties as required Education and Experience: Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, relevant work experience is a plus. Knowledgeable of Software development and Mobile Application or Cloud development is preferred Familiar with Software Development technologies is preferred Demonstrates strong communication skills with audiences with various levels of technical background. Preferred Skills and Competencies: Able to work independently with appropriate supervision. Proactive at communicating with various stakeholders in the organization. Detail oriented, with effective verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated abilities to leverage creativity in order to overcome obstacles and work with a sense of urgency. Demonstrated flexibility and ability to function in a fast-paced, growth industry and work environment Able to organize and judge multiple priorities. Physical Requirements (if applicable): US travel as needed (at least once per quarter) Additional Information: Compensation & Benefits: For U.S.-based positions only, the annual base salary range for this role is $41.47 - $62.20 This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation.
