Optical Assistant – The Role
Full-time Optical Assistant/Dispensing Assistant role in Alton
Working within a franchise optical practice with an independent feel
Small, friendly team of three people
Hands-on position within a busy opticians
Focus on high levels of patient care and customer service
Assisting with all areas of the practice including reception, dispensing, pre-screening and collections
Opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients
Supportive working environment with a personal approach
Working Hours
Full time, 5 days per week including Saturdays
8.50am to 5:10pm

Optical Assistant – Requirements
Previous experience working as an Optical Assistant or within an opticians
Ideally a minimum of 12 months optical experience
Confident with dispensing and supporting patients throughout their journey
Interest in eyewear, frame styling, and patient care
Strong customer service skills with attention to detail
Team-focused approach and professional attitude
