Responsibilities Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) collaborate with other disciplines and develop appropriate interventions, treatment plans, and resident/caretaker education. The SLP evaluates and treats residents with speech, language, and swallowing disorders. SLP job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, care plans, and interdisciplinary interactions. Evaluate clients and develop a treatment plan that will meet their needs SLP observe and reassess client progress and prepare detailed reports accordingly Initiate diagnostic, preventive, and rehabilitative procedures as appropriate to the patient’s care and safety
