Our values are simple:</p><ul><li><p><strong>Act</strong> to deliver.</p></li><li><p><strong>Disrupt</strong> to grow.</p></li><li><p><strong>Team up</strong> to win.</p></li></ul><h2>The project and the team</h2><p><span>We are looking for an engineer with a strong expertise in Linux, security and Python to join our client's team and do platform hardening within the client's infrastructure.</span></p><p><span>What else you should know:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>The team consists of less than 15 people, including an architect, a project manager, backend developers, frontend developers, and DevOps engineers. </span></p></li><li><p><span>We use SCRUM/Agile methodology</span></p></li><li><p><span>Our tech stack for the project includes: Linux, Debian, Yocto, Python, Bash, Docker, Git, Puppet, PostgreSQL, Github Actions, Kubernetes, AWS</span></p></li><li><p><span>The client is based in the US.</span></p></li></ul><p><span>We work on multiple interesting projects at the same time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well-suited for it.</span></p><h2><span>Your role</span></h2><p><span>As a part of the project team, you will be responsible for:</span></p><ul><li><p>Develop Python and Bash tools on Linux servers</p></li><li><p>Implement security mechanisms across client’s infrastructure in the scope of platform hardening</p></li><li><p>Troubleshooting infrastructure issues</p></li><li><p>Creating documentation</p></li><li><p>Working in an agile methodology and collaborating with a team</p></li><li><p>Supporting teammates</p></li><li><p>Attending daily standups with the customer</p></li></ul><h2><span>Do we have a match?</span></h2><p><span>As a Senior Engineer, you must meet the following criteria:</span></p><ul><li><p>8+ years of experience</p></li><li><p>Deep knowledge of <strong>Linux</strong> and hands-on proficiency in Linux-based environments</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in the <strong>security domain</strong> including practical skills in Linux platform hardening (also familiarity with global standards such as SOC 2)</p></li><li><p>Advanced <strong>Python</strong> programming skills</p></li><li><p>Advanced <strong>Bash</strong> scripting skills</p></li><li><p>Solid knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL</p></li><li><p>Experience with network-related projects</p></li><li><p>Good command of English (B2 level or above)</p></li></ul><p>Beyond the criteria above, we would appreciate the nice-to-haves:</p><ul><li><p>Familiarity with Yocto</p></li><li><p>Good understanding of various VPN solutions (OpenVPN, WireGuard, strongSwan)</p></li><li><p>Experience working with the AWS ecosystem</p></li></ul><h2>More reasons to join us</h2><ul><li><p>Flexible working hours and approach to work: fully remotely, in the office or hybrid</p></li><li><p>Professional growth supported by internal training sessions and a training budget</p></li><li><p>Solid onboarding with a hands-on approach to give you an easy start</p></li><li><p>A great atmosphere among professionals who are passionate about their work</p></li><li><p>The ability to change the project you work on</p></li></ul>
