<strong>Air Conditioning Engineer (Installation Bias)</strong><br><strong>Location:</strong> Essex (Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend – no London travel)<br><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-Time, Permanent<br><strong>Salary:</strong> £40,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)<br><hr><br><strong>About the Company</strong><br>We are a well-established, family-run HVAC business operating since 1996, with a strong reputation for quality installations and long-term client relationships across Essex.<br>Our work is <strong>90% Essex-based</strong>, covering areas including Chelmsford, Colchester, and Southend, with a focus on delivering high standards in both domestic and light commercial environments.<br>With a team of 12 staff, including 7 engineers, we pride ourselves on a supportive working culture, stability, and consistent workload.<br><hr><br><strong>The Role</strong><br>We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong installation background to join our growing team.<br>The role is predominantly installation-focused (<strong>70% installs / 30% maintenance</strong>), working across domestic properties and some commercial projects (approx. 30%).<br><hr><br><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Installation of air conditioning systems to a high standard</li><ul><li>Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding on AC systems</li><li>Working across domestic and light commercial sites</li><li>Ensuring all work complies with industry regulations and safety standards</li><li>Completing job sheets and documentation accurately</li><li>Providing excellent customer service on-site</li><li>Working independently and as part of a team</li></ul></ul><hr><br><strong>Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer</li><ul><li>Strong installation experience (essential)</li><li>F-Gas certification</li><li>Full UK driving licence</li><li>Ability to work across Essex (no London travel required)</li></ul></ul><hr><br><strong>What’s on Offer</strong><br><ul><li>Salary: £40,000 – £45,000</li><ul><li>Company van & fuel card</li><li>8:00am – 5:00pm working hours</li><li><strong>No call-out rota</strong></li><li>28 days holiday (including bank holidays)</li><li>Annual bonus based on performance</li><li>Long-term, stable employment with an established company</li><li>Supportive team environment with low staff turnover</li></ul></ul>
