Responsibilities:

  • Record incoming and outgoing financial transactions daily
  • Reconcile supporting documentation and address billing discrepancies
  • Code and enter expenditures in accordance with company guidelines
  • Execute scheduled disbursement runs, ensuring accurate and timely payments
  • Maintain receivables ledger and apply incoming remittances accurately
  • Correspond professionally with external parties regarding outstanding balances
  • Handle electronic payment processing and apply funds appropriately
  • Administer periodic payroll processing, including related journal submissions
  • Audit vendor statements and client accounts for accuracy
  • Validate employee reimbursement submissions for policy adherence
  • Contribute to process improvement projects
  • Draft journal entries for core accounting cycles and accruals
  • Conduct periodic reconciliations of bank and balance sheet accounts
  • Assist in period-end close procedures, including adjusting entries
  • Gather and organize supporting materials for annual audit activities
  • Maintain structured financial records in an audit-ready condition
  • Compile required filings and supporting schedules for regulatory submissions
  • Collaborate on system improvements and cross-departmental special initiatives


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • 1-2+ years of accounting experience
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment (preferred)


Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary: up to $80,000
  • This role is also eligible for various benefits, including: Medical Insurance


Actual base salary will be determined based on an individual's experience, skills, education, certifications, credentials, special skills, accomplishments, and other factors relevant to the position.

This role is based in the Twin Cities. Applicants must currently reside in Minnesota or are planning to relocate to Minnesota in the near future.
