A Brief Overview<ul><li>ServiceNow ITOM & Discovery Expertise: Deep experience implementing and administering ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) capabilities, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Certificate Management and CMDB integration.</li><li>Infrastructure & Network Knowledge: Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure components (servers, networks, cloud platforms, containers, and applications) to support accurate discovery, classification, and configuration item (CI) relationships.</li><li>Discovery Configuration & Troubleshooting: Proven ability to configure, tune, and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, including MID Server configuration, credential management, patterns, probes/sensors, and resolving discovery errors.</li><li>CMDB Data Quality & Governance: Experience maintaining CMDB integrity through identification and reconciliation rules, data normalization, relationship mapping, and alignment with CMDB governance and ITIL best practices.</li><li>Cloud Operations & Discovery: Experience discovering and managing cloud resources across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including cloud-native services, dynamic infrastructure, and integration of cloud assets into the ServiceNow CMDB.</li><li>Automation & Integration Skills: Ability to design and implement automation using ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, APIs, and integrations with monitoring and infrastructure tools to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.</li></ul>• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of and expertise in CHOP DTS components and various technologies, tools, techniques and strategies. • Exhibits advanced knowledge of and expertise in related DTS best practices and the ability to advocate their use throughout the CHOP organization. • Demonstrates the ability to perform complex, conceptual and logical data modeling and life-cycle design. • Demonstrates basic knowledge of and expertise in project management. • Demonstrates knowledge of and expertise in DTS Best Practices relating to infrastructure support. • Demonstrates the ability to create detailed work-related documentation and project and change management plans Demonstrates expert abilities in needs analysis, data modeling, solutions design and troubleshooting. • Exhibits ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, vendors and management. • Exhibits ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with technical and business teams and CHOP management. • Demonstrates the ability to translate complex technical solutions into non-technical requirements documents. • Exhibits the ability to manage a small team and to work with minimal supervision in support of team initiatives. • Coordinates activities of a limited number of staff in support of assigned tasks. • Exhibits the ability to handle quickly changing priorities. What you will do<ul><li>The responsibilities of an Enterprise Architect II encompass identical responsibilities as an Enterprise Architect I, but with a greater degree of complexity. An Enterprise Architect II also:<ul><li>Acts as the technical expert addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration. Performs on potential future projects.</li><li>Develops strategic and tactical project plans and similar deliverables and feasibility analysis and recommendations to management and business units.</li><li>Works with various DTS teams and business users to provide technical and strategic direction and analyze, architect, plan and implement DTS solutions and services.</li><li>Acts as the technical expert addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platform integration.</li><li>Performs systems performance and root cause analysis of production incidents (may require 24/7 coverage).</li><li>Functions as a vendor liaison and selects appropriate products to solve business and strategic goals.</li><li>Provides guidance on consolidation of existing hardware and software applications.</li><li>Provides capacity planning and performance tuning recommendations.</li><li>Participates in the design and support of the Hospital’s Operations environment.</li><li>Educates team members on technology trends and developments and investigates new technologies that fit within the CHOP's strategic DTS plans.</li></ul></li></ul>Education Qualifications<ul><li>High School Diploma / GED Required</li><li>Bachelor's Degree computer science, systems analysis or a related study Preferred</li></ul>Experience Qualifications<ul><li>At least five (5) years of experience in at least two IT disciplines in a client/server or service-oriented architecture (SOA) environment, including technical architecture, network design, application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations Preferred</li></ul>Skills and Abilities<ul><li>Exposure to multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments.</li><li>Strong understanding of network architecture and application development methodologies.</li><li>Strong understanding of SOA, object-oriented analysis and design, and/or client/server systems.</li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.</li></ul> To carry out its mission, CHOP is committed to supporting the health of our patients, families, workforce, and global community.
