Endocrinologist (MD/DO) Location: New Haven, Connecticut Schedule: Full-Time | Permanent Organization Overview This opportunity is with a well-established, community-based healthcare system serving the Greater New Haven region of Connecticut. The organization maintains affiliations with leading academic institutions and provides access to advanced diagnostic, imaging, and treatment resources. The endocrinology service line is supported by a multidisciplinary team including primary care providers, cardiologists, nephrologists, nutritionists, and diabetes educators, ensuring comprehensive management of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Position Summary The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist (MD/DO) to join its growing outpatient-focused practice in New Haven, Connecticut . This is a full-time, permanent position primarily focused on managing a wide range of endocrine conditions in an outpatient setting, with minimal inpatient responsibilities. The role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong patient panel within a supportive and collaborative clinical environment. Essential Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders Provide comprehensive outpatient care with a focus on long-term disease management and prevention Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care Interpret diagnostic tests including hormone assays, imaging studies, and metabolic evaluations Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, medication management, and disease prevention Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices Support population health initiatives related to diabetes and endocrine disease management Qualifications Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Training: Residency in Internal Medicine; Fellowship in Endocrinology required Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology Licensure: Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure Experience: Open to both experienced endocrinologists and new graduates/fellows Skills: Strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care Compensation & Work Environment Highly competitive compensation package with productivity incentives Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and paid time off CME allowance and professional development support Outpatient-focused role with excellent work-life balance Supportive, team-oriented clinical environment Access to advanced diagnostic tools and multidisciplinary support Opportunity to work within a respected healthcare system with academic affiliations Long-term career growth and leadership opportunities Thank you, and I look forward to connecting soon!
