Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

About the Role

Kemp Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading equipment hire company for an experienced Mobile Small Tool Fitter.

In this field-based role, you’ll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of small tools, 2/4 stroke engines, and light plant equipment at customer sites across Northamptonshire . It’s an excellent opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys working independently and delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

Service, repair, and maintain small tools and light plant machinery
Diagnose and repair faults on 2/4 stroke engines and mechanical systems
Carry out inspections and ensure all equipment is safe and ready for hire
Maintain safety, compliance, and service standards
Provide great customer service on-site
About You

Previous experience as a Small Tool Fitter, Plant Fitter, or Maintenance Technician
Mechanical knowledge of 2/4 stroke engines and small plant machinery
Able to diagnose and repair faults independently
Self-motivated, reliable, and organised
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
