Platform Architect

A leading Financial Services firm is looking to appoint a Platform Architect to shape the enterprise platforms that underpin the organisation. You will simplify the technology landscape, reduce cost and risk, and help teams deliver change with confidence. The aim is to strengthen resilience, support innovation and create long‑term value. This is a senior role with real influence. You will set direction, govern standards and work with leaders across technology, operations, risk and the market.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with cloud and SaaS platforms, API‑led and event‑driven architectures
• Have experience in complex, regulated environments
• Have the ability to engage with senior leaders and diverse stakeholders
• Have a strong track record of defining and governing architectural standards
• A solid understanding of security, resilience and non‑functional requirements
• Have knowledge of data management and AI‑ready architectures, including the safe use of GenAI
• The ability to explain complex decisions in clear, business‑focused terms
