Production /Fabric Cutter –

Location Fort Worth, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $17.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience) ($ up to $20 after training based on performance)

• Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM; must be flexible to work overtime up to 5:00 PM

• W2 employment

• Start date: ASAP


Job Description 

The Fabric Cutter plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality production of window shade materials. This position supports daily manufacturing goals by accurately cutting fabric to specification, maintaining equipment, and upholding production standards. Success is defined by precision, efficiency, teamwork, and consistent adherence to operational procedures.


 Key Duties

• Operate fabric cutting machines to cut materials according to production orders and specifications

• Accurately lay out fabric and inspect for flaws, defects, or inconsistencies before and during cutting

• Perform basic quality checks, routine machine maintenance, and cleaning

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation and properly dispose of fabric scrap and waste

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet quality standards and on-time dispatch targets

• Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

• Ability to read and interpret standard work instructions, patterns, markers, and production orders

• Strong attention to detail with basic math skills and excellent manual dexterity

• Equipment & Work Environment

• Fabric cutting machines and production equipment

• Manufacturing/warehouse setting with standing for extended periods

• Repetitive hand movements requiring hand-eye coordination

• Overtime as needed to meet production demands


Preferred Skills

• Previous fabric cutting experience in a manufacturing setting

• Ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues

• Basic computer literacy
