About the Role
Social Worker required for work within the Children & Families Team- Non case holding in the Devon area in Exeter. Competitive rates of pay up to £38ph, long term contracts in a well managed supportive team. 3 months initial contract 37 hours a week. Flexible working
An accommodation/commuter allowance of £150 per week is offered for candidates who fall within the agreed eligibility guidelines. Please note that this allowance will be reviewed at the end of March 2026.
Service Wide Duty Support (Non-Case Holding Role)
We are seeking a Social Worker to join our Exeter and East Children and Families service in a non-case holding capacity, providing vital duty support across the service. This role centres on responding to immediate needs and offering timely, practical support to teams during periods of duty demand.
You will be supported by a Duty Manager, who will coordinate the weeks duty tasks and ensure you have clear direction, guidance and support. While you will not hold your own caseload, you will need to be confident in producing clear, concise records, maintaining accurate information, and ensuring all actions are completed promptly and documented appropriately.
