About the Role
If you're an experienced CMM Inspector who takes pride in precision and quality, this is an opportunity to join a well-established precision engineering business supplying complex components into high-performance industries.With a strong order book and continued investment in both technology and people, the business is looking to strengthen its quality team with someone who enjoys working to tight tolerances, solving problems and ensuring only the highest quality components leave the shop floor.You'll play a key role in maintaining quality standards, carrying out CMM inspection of precision machined components, supporting production and helping drive a right-first-time culture across the business. The role also includes first-off inspection, working from engineering drawings, producing inspection reports and supporting quality activities across the manufacturing process.What you'll be doing:Carrying out CMM inspection of complex precision machined components to tight tolerancesCompleting first-off inspections and ensuring components meet engineering drawing requirements before production continuesProducing and supporting quality documentation including FAIRs, ISIRs and PPAP activities where requiredWorking closely with manufacturing and quality teams to identify and resolve quality issues while driving continuous improvementWhat we're looking for:Previous experience using CMM equipment within a precision engineering or machining environmentAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and understand GD&TExperience producing FAIRs, ISIRs or PPAP documentation would be advantageousA methodical approach with excellent attention to detail and a passion for qualityIf you're looking for a role where your inspection experience genuinely makes a difference and you'd like to join a business that continues to invest in its people and technology, click to apply and Kieran Evans will be in contact to discuss the finer details.
